Classes start tomorrow!

It hasn't been raining here at Boston at all since I came. Maybe I should change the song :P

The weather is so so nice when it's slightly windy and sunny. Basically it's chilly in early morning and at night but I've got no complaints about that. Don't know how cold it'll get when it's winter but at least I'm not at Newton. People there have to wait for the shuttle bus to get to classes, which comes every 15-20 mins. Brrrr. At least I can like make a dash and keep myself warm, although stairs are a bit annoying.



The skies here are so pretty. I can just lie on the grass, look up at the sky and let my thoughts wander and maybe an afternoon would pass in an blink of an eye.



I'm pretty happy with my schedule now. I got rid of the 8 am classes, phew! 9 am classes are less rough. I really don't know if I'd have the motivation to get up for the 8 am class. Okay you guys must be wondering why the hell I'm taking Chinese. I actually wanted elementary japanese but the course was closed! Tear. And I rarely get the chance to speak Chinese so having a class would help me keep my standards. I'm starting to forget my vocab already, seriously.

Went to get a phone today, apparently I don't have any credits in US yet so I can't get a phone plan. I wanted a Sanyo Katana LX Pink phone, which is like so pretty! But I can't get that phone now... Got a Motorola V3 instead, pay as you go kind, just to get me by until maybe 3 months or 6 months later.



See lah, so chio! I really don't know why I've started to like pink (maybe under joanne's influence :P) but I do! Not dark pink though, I like the lighter shades more.

I WILL WAIT.

Going to open a Bank of America account and maybe get a credit card. Maybe learn how to write checks. All those adult stuff ughhh, makes me feel like blanking out. >_< What's a debit card anyway?

Sigh. I have Vista Enterprise on my laptop now and the words seem much smaller. I hope my myopia degree doesn't go up cause of this!

OH I saw this guy who looks like Wentworth Miller! Like, the younger version. Actually a lot of guys here are potential heart throbs if you look closely haha :P I get what yali meant when he said they're big-sized now. They're like wider and taller. For girls too, I seriously feel like a midget lah! Grumble grumble.

Okay I'm like rambling a lot. Basically, the girls here like talking a lot. I have one class tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it cause it's interesting. The class is 'Hanging out, Hooking-up and Dating: An Examination of College Romantic Relationships'. Cool or not? HAHA. It's a 1 credit class that ends by Thanksgiving, although I don't know when is Thanksgiving...

We had this meeting about safety today and apparently the statistics of rape is one out of twenty college women. So comforting right. But they do have this escort service that we can call if we don't want to walk alone, haha, pretty cool.

I'm not really homesick yet, but I do miss my family, and having friends. Haha I'm so not adjusting to the time properly. Okay I should go sleep now.

p.s I caught the trojan/virus thing from xiaxue's blog on my old laptop and had to reinstall everything! Thankfully it isn't the new laptop.
